Players’ Justice Fund

As part of a shared commitment to take collective action to promote social justice, the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) and the NBA have committed that all proceeds from the auction of game-worn NIKE NBA jerseys from opening weekend of the 2020 season restart in Orlando were donated to the newly-created Players’ Justice Fund, to be administered by the NBPA Foundation.

The funds raised through the auction are used to support organizations whose programming and activities advance the cause of social justice, civic engagement, and related issues.All players can recommend organizations and causes to be supported by the Fund. The NBPA Foundation’s Board of Directors, will review funding proposals, develop program ideas, and make grants to pursue the mission of the Fund.
