Let ‘Em Know You’re There
The NBPA Foundation is a proud donor and sponsor of the documentary “Let ‘Em Know You’re There: The Story of Big Jim and the Triple Double.” The documentary tells the often overlooked and forgotten story of Jim Tucker and the Syracuse Nationals. He recorded the fastest triple double in a game in 1955 - a record that stood until Nikola Jokic broke it in February, 2018.
Jim Tucker’s story is about the intersection of a city in it’s prime (Syracuse), and underdog team (the Nationals), and a special moment in time where basketball was evolving into the global phenomenon we know it as today.
