All-Star Week

As a part of the legacy of All Star Weekend, the NBPA Foundation is committed to long term investments in the communities where the game is played annually. 

 

In 2019, the NBPA Foundation made a three year commitment to providing youth sports scholarships to Charlotte Housing Authority residents, expanding access to sports for underprivileged youth.

In 2018, the NBPA Foundation made a three year commitment to for capital improvement projects focused on basketball court refurbishment and renovation, in partnership with the LA84 Foundation

Kyle Kuzma of the Los Angeles Lakers announces that the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) Foundation and the LA84 Foundation have issued a request for proposals (RFP) to refurbish local basketball courts. For more information and to check eligibility, visit LA84.org/ball

 

In 2017, the Foundation made a three year scholarship commitment to Midnight Basketball, a program that focuses on providing safe recreational activity, jobs and opportunities in crime hot spots for males over 16 years old through basketball, mentorship and support. The investment aided in providing participants the opportunity to attend industry-certified job training programs in New Orleans.
